About Dr. Jordan
Dr. Eris Jordan is Co-founder and Chief Development Officer at Aurion Biotech, where she leads clinical development and professional affairs for the company’s regenerative cell therapy targeting corneal endothelial disease. She oversees the strategic execution of clinical programs and drives engagement with the global medical community to advance Aurion’s therapeutic pipeline. With over two decades of experience spanning clinical practice and ophthalmic industry leadership, Dr. Jordan brings a unique perspective that bridges patient care with cutting-edge therapeutic development. She continues to serve as a practicing clinician specializing in cornea and anterior segment disorders.
Before co-founding Aurion Biotech, Dr. Jordan served as the company’s Vice President of Clinical and Medical Affairs and held senior leadership positions at CorneaGen, AcuFocus, Inc., and Bausch & Lomb’s surgical division. Her career is deeply rooted in patient care, where she spent a decade as Clinic Director of a tertiary cornea and anterior segment surgical practice, specializing in complex perioperative case management.
Dr. Jordan completed her post-graduate training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and earned her Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Optical Sciences degrees through a fast-tracked program at Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University), graduating with highest clinical honors.
